Jumped the gun a bit here. It turns out multiplexing was
enabled on one of the the storage units on one of our masters but on nothing
else. Mystery solved......
Hi,
I could be way off
here but I've noticed some 'strange' behaviour when kicking off manual clients
form a policy.
I don't think we
have multiplexing enabled (at least the 'enable multiplexing' box in unchecked
on the storage unit) and I'm pretty sure if I run multiple policies, they will
queue up (once both drives are occupied by backup jobs). However, I ran a
manual backup and selected all 3 hosts from the policy and it seems the jobs
were being multiplexed (I had 2 polices running, one with 3 hosts and all jobs
[4] in the activity monitor appeared to be running, despite the fact we only
have 2 drives).
Is this
expected?
Cheers,
