NOM is just an app and it shouldn’t/doesn’t care/know that it’s running on a VM.  If you ever called support, would you even mention the hardware something is running on?  You’re going to say, “It’s running on Solaris/Linux/Windows,” not “It’s running on a Dell 2850.” So why would you mention that’s it’s running on a VM?

All,

Is anyone running their NOM server on a VM (linux or windows)?  I was at a conference last week at Symantec and they did a demo of the product running the NOM server on a VM but said it wasn’t supported.  I’m curious to know if anyone is doing it anyway.

Thanks,
