True, we do not have a limit to the number of tape drives.

This depends on your license.
We pay per tape drive, and you (apparantly) pay a flat rate regardless of how 
many drives you have.

So, if your license is such that you are paying per drive, then there may be a 
considerable difference between the licensing per drive, vs per terabyte of 
usable storage, versus DSU (free?)
