The point in my earlier email is you don't know if you're saving yourself time. 
  Until a release is "released", all statements about it even those by the 
company that should be doing the release are "speculation" or at best 
"intelligent guesses".   The only thing that really lends weight to the 
speculation here is that someone says he is one of the beta testers which 
suggests the product is actually almost ready.  However, even with that, I 
won't hold my breath.

You do not have to go to 6.0 before you go to 6.5.  Save yourself the extra
step and put that time into the prep work you need to do to get to 6.x.  As
long as you are prepared and have made sure your environment is healthy,
it's not that painful.
