OK – let’s restate it:
Are the open files important enough that
NOT being able to restore them make the backup useless in the event of a full
system failure requiring a restore?
That is to say is it better to live
without backing up the open files or better to live with a slow backup to
insure you get the open files? Or does it even get the open files if you have
VSS/VSP enabled?
