But how do I backup open files?

I did forget to say that I am using VSP for the 3 windows 2000 servers
and VSS for the 5 windows 2003 servers.

Also, I have 2 exchange servers that I backup with VSS and they do not
have this issue.

Simple, turn off VSP/VSS for this client in NetBackup and your problem
should be resolved.

Justin.
