After my complaining on this forum I received a call from one of
managers at Symantec.

Very nice. This case went to level 4 support and after 2 days of
communication problem is solved.

So I gladly retract my flame.

 

NBU created this file /tmp/PBXPIPEnbsl, when removed, nbsl started.

First of all I need to say Symantec/Veritas support is just so bad words
can describe it :-(

My setup: NBU 6MP4 on Linux RHEL4U4.

About a month ago nbsl daemon decided to stop working.

Restarting NB, rebooting server did not help.

It doesn't bother backups. It seems only problem is I can not open jnbSA
media pane.
