First NDMP backup proving to be a challenge...
NBU Enterprise 6.0 MP4 on Windows 2003 backing up a Sun StorEdge 5320
I'm running the first "test" backup of very little data on /array2 using
remote NDMP to my master/media server. I've configured the client w/
the "root" (administrator) password, and authtication looks ok.
set_ndmp_attr -verify nas_server
Connecting to host "nas_server" as user "administrator"...
Waiting for connect notification message...
Opening session--attempting with NDMP protocol version 3...
Opening session--successful with NDMP protocol version 3
host supports TEXT authentication
host supports MD5 authentication
Getting MD5 challenge from host...
Logging in using MD5 method...
Host info is:
host name "nas_server"
os type "StorageTek"
os version "Version 4.20 M2 (Build 3) "
host id "ST5320200702140032"
Login was successful
Host supports LOCAL backup/restore
Host supports 3-way backup/restore
When I run the job it mounts a tape, goes to "begin writing" then fails
with...

>From what I've read of the Netbackup configuration I should be good.
I'm not managing the NAS itself, so I'm not sure what options are
avalible there.. But is there anything else I should be doing from my
end to make this thing work?
Thanks as usual...
