Hi,
 
Make sure that etc exists both in C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc AND 
C:\windows\SysWow64\drivers\etc - they have fixed this in 5.1MP4 until then 
just copy from your system32 to SysWow64 and the installer runs through and 
netbackup works

I have been trying to load NB 5.1 onto a windows box which runs SQL. Whenever I 
try and load the software it breaks the installer and doesnt allow anything to 
be installed. 
 
I guess my question is does veritas have a software package specifically for 
64bit machines.
