Hi bob
My question was in part of a follow up to a previous question I posted 6th
Oct 06 and received answers to a few hours later.

In this particular example, I ran this command and received this output:

2 weeks ago on Friday, I wanted to merge all my Monthly Policies into
existing weekly policies, but simply create a Monthly Schedule that would
run on specified calendar dates.

In this example above, Monthly_Full is set to run on specific calendar
dates, and the Weekly Full and Incr run on frequency base.

At the same time, I also done the same procedure for my remaining 6 other
policies (ie: added Monthly full schedule) and they started successfully. In
fact, the monthly policies did run and completed with no problems.

The weekend just gone, all policies ran their weekly full schedules, with
exception to this one above. It ran the monthly twice, even though its been
specified to use a fixed date for the monthly backup.

I was trying to understand why this issue occurred for this one policy, but
did not affect any of the others, which all seem to be behaving as I
expected them to. (Run Monthly on a given calendar date, and weekly full and
incr run as specified on the frequency).

Am I the only one who is trying this ?

Simon, could you supply the information necessary to understand what you've
configured (bpplsched's output at a minimum) and restate your problem (is it
"Monthly has ran twice" or "this weekend, the weekly full schedules ran," on
which machines, when were their prior automatic or immediate backups, ...

We don't yet know what the policies did that you didn't expect, but since
you said

> The Monthly Schedule has been set for Calendar, and ONLY to

implying that others were frequency-based, did you forget that the manual,
and many articles on this list, tell you not to mix calendar- and
frequency-based schedules?
