Hi All,
I have NetBackup 4.5 running on Solaris 8.
Very often I see hundreds of these processes:
root 3330 1450 0.0 0.0 Z Dec_31 13424-15:06:21
root 17028 1450 0.0 0.0 Z Dec_31 13424-15:06:21
root 25460 1450 0.0 0.0 Z Dec_31 13424-15:06:21
root 12161 1450 0.0 0.0 Z Dec_31 13424-15:06:21
root 855 1450 0.0 0.0 Z Dec_31 13424-15:06:21
~$ps -ef | grep Dec_ | wc -l
394
-----------
While I see them there are only few drives mounted out total 16
and there are 300 backups queued.
ppid 1450:
root 1450 1 0.1 0.3 S Sep_28 4-18:48:57
/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bpsched -mainempty
What are those?
