Yes. If you are using netbackup you can restore the data from one NDMP backup 
to another NDMP location by using a different dest from the source. They have 
to be of the same type of NDMP backup. 
Our NDMP backups are with Netapp file servers. We can restore to another 
directory name, to a different volume and they can be to  a different filer. 
Unless you have a very old version of netbackup in which case they did not 
support a restore to a different filer.
