I get this on 2 SAN Media Servers (and only these!)
First thing I started to do was take out suspect media - that seems to have
cured 90% of it!

I had to BPLABEL and ERASE most tapes again. In fairness most have gone, but
I still get the odd one and 2.

There is no real details out there about it, and the log you have is EXACTLY
what I have.

Unfortunately my maintenenace ran out, still waiting to get it renewed :-(

Was wondering if anyone is has seen errors similar to this:

write error on media id JB0338, drive index 1, EOM returned when writing
media header

I've had a look on support.veritas.com and have had no luck. About to open a
support call but was wondering if any of you experts out there may know what
is going on.

It seems that when a backup tries to span to the second tape it fails with
the aforementioned error. Seems to really only occur on this 1 backup that
is about 500+ Gb which spans about two LTO2 tapes.
