CumInc is used when you want to minimize the tape mounts for a restore and
also to minimize the risk of data loss in case of a bad tape. Say your full
was Sunday and it's now Thursday and you need to do a restore. With
DiffInc, you're mounting Sunday's tape, then the Monday, Tuesday, and
Wednesday tapes. If Monday was bad, you're dead in the water. With a
CumInc policy, you'd restore from your Sunday and Wednesday tapes and be
done.
