Here are two links that I have found extremely valuable for drive
related issues....

One is to rebuild the vmglob database (if the drive serial number
changed for example...)

Other is to rebuild the sg driver database (run sgscan first - if it
comes back with (??) instead of a /dev/rmt/# then you need to rebuild
the sg drivers...this should be done before rebuilding the vmglob...
