Question: If I am missing something here, but I have never had to use the
-deassignempty when a tape expires either using BPEXPDATE or just expire
through NetBackup on its own accord (ie: automatically expire when the
retention period date is reached)

My problem is that I have to run at least ones per day a script that will
find all empty media and run the bpexpdate -deassignempty command
But in an environment that has 150GB of image database and more than 2000
tapes it is a problem. Imagine that the bpmedia -movedb or the bpexpdate
command takes more than 15 min to complete.
