for dlt labels, I have and have used a short C program that is listed
in the comments as being written by this guy:

I don't see it on his site any longer but perhaps email to him will
yield it.
It is listed as "free for non-commercial use" in its comments, but
since he is no longer distributing it i am somewhat concerned about
doing so myself.
