We moved from an HP-UX 11.0 server to HP-UX 11.11.  Due to this we were
able to move the catalogs etc... without having to reimport media.   To
dodge the server name issue we just added another Name with old IP to
the same NIC as the primary interface.

As long as the new server has the same name as the old server, you'll be
okay (and the platform is the same).

You can't do that.  I believe you'll have to import all of your media on
to the new master.

Alternatively, if you really, really know what you're doing, you can
find all the pieces where the master name is stored and make the
changes, but ideally you'd contact Symantec Professional Services to do
the work for you.
