I am sure the originator was looking for suggestions on helping solve the
issue, rather than reading the manuals, which we all know does not cover
every single problem associated with single drive backups!

You should read the Media Manager manual available either with you software
or on line and then post questions after that.  Single drive and tape
stacker configurations are well documented.
