Hi Suzanne!
Since MP1 of BMR 4.7, we could recover AD Servers with no special
process, except in the case where you are trying to do an authoritative
recovery.
What version of BMR were you using and what were the issues?

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Using BMR to recover Domain Controllers
Has anyone successfully recovered a W2K3 A/D Domain Controller using
BMR? We tried, but were unsuccessful. I didn't know if there were
special procedures since it is a domain controller. We are trying to
restore 2 domain controllers that share the 5 roles. I can successfully
restore them, but I have to do it with out BMR and it isn't as easy with
dissimilar hardware. Thanks.
