I'm looking into the possibility of upgrading to NBU 6 w/ Enterprise
Vault and I've got a couple of questions after talking with the Veritas
Technical Rep.
 
Does anyone have a compression estimate for archived data?  That is,
when I pull data off primary storage to secondary and retain it for,
lets say 2 years - how much space savings are we talking about?  Is is
(more or less) the same amount of savings I get from compression when
backing up (since NBU 6 is integrated?)
 
Does anyone have a tool for exchange that could go through and estimate
the number of messages older than a certain date?  How about a tool to
run through my storage groups and calculate the size of all attachments?
 
How is everyone implementing Vault in their DR Strategies?  My current
idea goes after data goes stale, 2 years to disk & 5 years to tape
offsite.  For DR we could simply restore from tape after recreating our
vault environment.
