bpduplicate the images to the destination pool you want them to be in,
expire the original tape....presto.
or, as I said, change your monthly backup policy to write to the new
pool from now on, and forget about the old tapes....within a year, they
will have all gone to scratch and gotten recycled.
After they're all expired, delete the pool.

        This is a Tape Pool created 1 year ago. It contains 7 tapes -
month end with a years retention.
        I wanted to get rid of the pool, but try to save the images by
moving the tape into a pool that is used for month end backups.
