Here are two links that might help. I believe the sg.build process might be
your problem too. They are technotes that help rebuild the sg drivers. We
use 1 more 'max target' and 'max lun' than we need for all of our devices.

You should be able to run 'scscan changer' which will output any robots that
the box sees.
