Go to your i2K admin console. Under setup, go into the device access list.
Ensure that you have enable the server to see the robot controller on the IO
Blade.

Also, you don't mention if you are using the partitioning software or not.
Are you trying to run multiple robot partitions on the i2K?

Another thing to look at is what LUN are you using for the robot controller?
SGSCAN will only pick up the LUNS at numbers that you told it to use in the
sg.build command.

I would check the IO Blade access list first.

We need assistance installing NBU on a Solaris 10 V210 server, fiber
attached via a Brocade switch to a ADIC i2000 tape library.

The i2000 is partitioned, allocating 1 LTO3 drive and 6 tape slots to this
server. I have issues opened with SUN (for Veritas support) and ADIC. Both
are pondering the situation, meanwhile the clock is ticking...

The NBU install wizard finds the drive but not the robot.

sgscan shows:

# /usr/openv/volmgr/bin/sgscan -v all
/dev/sg/c0t0l0: Disk (/dev/rdsk/c0t0d0): "HITACHI HUS10733ASUN72G PA05"

/dev/sg/c0tw500308c001899804l1: Tape (/dev/rmt/0): "IBM ULTRIUM-TD3

cfgadm shows:
