Hi

Run following command to get more details about serial number in vol
database.

  # vmglob -listall -b ( list all serial numbers)

  # vmglob -listall -b | grep <"driver name">

Make sure serial numbers under each shared drive name should be common,

To list drive serial numbers on each media servers
  Run # tpautoconf -t

  To config new tape drives

  run # tpautoconf -a

NetBackup keeps track of the drive serial numbers. This is very
important in an SSO environment so that every host sharing the tape
drive knows it's talking to the right drive. The device name could be
different on every host, but the serial numbers stay the same.
