We running in our shop the following:
=20
1. one master/media server original an M80 with a jbod as /usr/openv
volume. it crashed one day and the whole system was swapped with
another M80 and the drives were reconfigured for it (14 drives shared
with other 3 media servers, 8 total drives shared between two Solaris
media servers, 2 drives are for a windows media server (not shared) and
finally 2 drives NDMP for two NetApp filers.
lately we have been getting lots of error 84 media write errors which
takes the NDMP after trying 3 times within 12 hours drive down and
making the media server too slow giving half of the throughput it used
to. What is the best way of getting rid of these 84 media write error?
=20
Thanks,
