Well - without a doubt, AVR mode means your connection to the robotic =
controls is out. "Robtest" is the quick test - it should fail if your =
robot is offline.
=20
Do you share a drive with the robot controls? Is that drive available? =
If you share a drive and the drive is up but the robot is out - it's =
most likely the robot itself. If both the robot & drive are out, is the =
HBA or cabling.
=20
If you don't share a drive with the robot, then diagnosis is tougher.

Thats the problem - no matter what I do, its in an AVR state for some =
unknown reason. so sort of understand why I got the problem, but trying =
to work out why it will not come back online.
=20
Unless I do a physical shudown of ALL devices and restart - which I =
cannot do :(

Make sure the robot is actually "on line".
=20
If a robot drive is in AVR state, it might as well be down. It will not =
get used, unless you manually load the tape into the drive.

Guys Got a problem on single NT4 NBU 3.4 - Dont want to delve too deep, =
but anyone provide assistance on why NBU jobs all fail with 219 - =
storage unit not available, even though there is one listed, and the =
policy is using the correct one.
=20
One thing I did notice, and that is the Robot (ADIC SCALAR) shows AVR =
control - which does not seem good to me, as usually its TLD
=20
Thanks
