Check to see if the files are read-only. bparchvie does not delete files
that are read only. Also check permissions on the files remaining after the
archive, see if the account that ran bparchive has permissions to delete th=
e
files.
BTW, archives with status 4 can be restored, NBU keeps the catalog entries
for it. (Though there is/was a bug in early 5.0, where, if the master serve=
r
is Solaris and you use checkpoint restart, the catalog entry wasn't written
if the archives returned status 4.)
