I run into issues similar to this once in awhile and this is what I try
=20
Set a vaule for -R ( I use -R 999 even though it should default)
=20
Open up the time window
=20
Ensure you have the client name correct (check in the images db)
=20
Open up the Policy (-k), Policy Type (-t)
=20
As a guess I would say the problem is that you are looking for a UNIX
type file but you are specifying a windows policy type (-t 13) I dont
know if /$PATH is a vaule you just put in for an example or something
that you are really looking for.=20
=20
I would try something like
=20
bplist -l -R temp
=20
If that works try
=20
bplist -C client_name -l -R temp
=20
If that works keep adding to the string till you get what you want or
till you encounter the failure again
=20

Subject: [Veritas-bu] bplist problem

bplist -C <client> -k <policy> -t 13 -s 2/5/2006 -e 2/10/2006 -S <master
media server> -l -R /$PATH=20

bplist -C <client>=20

bplist -C <client> -k <policy>=20

All commands above return "EXIT STATUS 227: no entity was found" even
though successfull backups ran across the first command's specified date
range and over the past 24 hours. Does anyone know what is causing this?

Thanks,=20
