Hi everyone
Ok, I think I have managed to sort out getting the Media Server online,
configured SSO (I believe!) and have created a new storage unit!
Created a test backup policy with holds 225GB of Data - the idea is the SAN
Media Server, goes through fibre and backup itself!
However in activity monitor it only shows the following.
14/12/2005 11:39:10 - started process bpbrm (5004)
14/12/2005 11:39:10 - connecting
14/12/2005 11:39:10 - connected; connect time: 00:00:00
14/12/2005 11:39:12 - mounting 4988L3
14/12/2005 11:39:53 - mounted; mount time: 00:00:41
14/12/2005 11:39:53 - positioning 4988L3 to file 1
14/12/2005 11:39:59 - positioned 4988L3; position time: 00:00:06
14/12/2005 11:39:59 - begin writing
14/12/2005 11:40:18 - positioned
Tape has been mounted, but it has been sat here for 20 mins now!
Not sure what is happening, or what it is trying to do!
Could anyone help me with this?
