[Veritas-bu] Backups stuck at tape mount

I'd upgrade to 5.1MP4 - I doubt it will fix the problem, but its worth a
shot.

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Backups stuck at tape mount
All,
I've recently upgraded from 4.5MP8 to 5.1MP2. Master server is a V880
running Solaris 8. Immediately following the upgrade, all backups hang
at "mounting tape###".
I've looked through the bptm logs and found the following message:
db_lock_media:unable to lock media at offset (tape###)
In looking through the mail list and the Veritas website, I've found
references that tell me some other process is trying to use that tape.
What I've done so far:
* Rebuild the sg drivers
* Rebuild the globDB (several time)
* reboot -r the master
* use robtest to manually mount and unmount tapes - works fine
* remove the /usr/openv/netbackup/db/jobs directory
Has anyone else come across this? If so, what else can I try besides
backing out and trying the upgrade again?
