Someone here should know how to do this, the vmchange with vmquery =
options should be able to get this dione,
if not, recovering the media databse now could me usefull. ? If veritas =
had a merge that would be nice?

Officially, no, it's not possible to move an assigned tape from pool to =
pool. The only official way to do this is to duplicate your images to =
tapes in the correct pool.
=20
That being said, there's a dangerouse, unsupported way to do this who's =
details I've forgotten on purpose.

        Morning
AFter making changes to NBU 5.2 MP2 I overlooked one important =
issue.....
        =20
My month end backups were meant to go in a Volume Pool called Month_End
=
however I forgot and now they are in the "FULL"Volume pool. I dont =
believe its a big problem, but is there a clean way of being able to =
relocate these tapes INTO the correct volume pool even though the =
backups are completed? I tried the manual way of change but its advised =
the tape is assigned to this volume pool!
        =20
I guess I could freeze the tapes or just eject them, but wonder if its =
going to cause any issues in the long term?
        =20
        Thanks, Simon
