2,. Put the PC name in DNS=20
3. be sure that the PC DNS name is listed on all the bp.conf files =

I am beating my head against the wall trying to figure out what I am missin=
g when trying to configure two new PC as admin consoles. I have tried compa=
ring them to one that works, adding them to every hosts file I could find. =
Putting them in bp.conf and vm.conf files. All to no avail. Does anyone hav=
e a definitive check list of what must be set in order to get them to work.=
We use DNS on the the windows boxes (except the media and master servers a=
lso have up to date host files), we only use hosts files on the Solaris med=
ia servers (go figure). HELP!!!!!=20
