I believe ? Restores do not require or / use storage units?
Try and restore without any STU  - it works but tape types and drive =
type must match.

So the tape type will need to match soley the drive type specified. The =
drive types is ???? and the tapes that were injected and given type ???? =
/ barcode rules?
They need to match, because the gui only offers, new media - specify =
type,, you might use vmchange=20
to change the media type to reflect the drives that reflect those tapes, =
or add new media manually lets you specify the tape type to reflect the =
drive type specified?  once the tape type match the drives / all of them =

all restores work fine.  So if you can change all of the tape types to =
reflect the exact type of the drives then=20
U will never have a problem for restores or backups?
