I checked the archives and didn't find much on this subject.  I forgot
to mention that we're using SharePoint 2003.  It doesn't look like there
is a client for that version.  There is a document that describes using
the MSSQL client to backup and restore the components but there is no
file, area, etc. level solution from Veritas.

We are evaluating products that work with SharePoint.  4 were mentioned
to me - MS free download (doesn't backup areas or sites etc.), Docav
(expensive), SPmgr (looks good), and Veritas.  We don't know anything
about the Veritas solution yet.  I'm gathering that information now.  I
would like feedback on any of these products or others if possible.  I
will look in the archives as I think this has already been discussed by
this group but I was interested in it at the time.
