You could create 2 separate backup networks and put one interface
in each. (I've always felt this scaled better for a Quad FE card
than trunking software).

For GigE, make sure you at least read the vendor's recommendations
for CPU usage for GigE interfaces, otherwise you might not be
improving anything, depending on what your media server actually
is.
