Or a virus internally ends up on a corporate desktop which then nails
you from the inside. 

I haven't looked at the patch yet to see if it requires a Windows
reboot but if it does, it's far better to be proactive than reactive.

Most compromises end up coming from the inside... somebody opens an
attachment they shouldn't, somebody is tunneling in from home, or
somebody takes a laptop home, infects it, and brings it into the office.
