I have 1 master 18 media server with 1 stk-l700 library and running 414
policies every night , i use multiplexing only on heavy servers, but
every volume pools can't use fully tapes , always to be left free space
on tapes

after a few days are those numbers better? How many media servers do you
have? how many jobs are you running at a time? how much are you
multiplexing?
For instance - if you have 5 clients in a policy and 4 tape drives, and
you're not multiplexing at all, or limiting the jobs/policy the first 4
that kick off each could get their own drive and the next one will be
stacked on the tape that was first to finish. The next night, it should
continue stacking on those tapes.
Without knowing more about your environment, any recommendation would
just be guessing.
