I have seen this before many times.  Sometimes it's a cluster and one
day the E:/ is on system1, the next, it's moved to system2, then the
backup for system1 will get Status error code of 71; none of files in
the file list exist for the E:/ drive backup.=20
=20
A scarey one was a new system that wasn't in DNS so I added to the host
files and had one number wrong in the IP.  The master server had the
correct IP, the media server had the incorrect IP.  It actually backed
up the wrong server which didn't contain one of the disks the right
server had.  I don't know the programming behind this since I didn't
write NetBackup, but it knew about the disk and then went to the wrong
server to find it.  Totally my fault but I would think there should be
some verification on the Media server of the hostname.  I gues there
isn't.
