With a support contract, do you know if the upgrade to v6.0 will be
free?

If you've got a support contract, the upgrade to v5.1 is free and well
worth
it to get away from Business Server's limitations.

The upgrade from Business Server version is to Netbackup v5.x (as
opposed to
NB Enterprise). NB5.x is fully featured, pretty much everything except
the
SSO stuff. It'll do NFS, no limits on drive counts (BS limits to two
active
drives), drive types, inline-tape copy, etc. Good Stuff.

An NFS tunable is to turn-off the reset of the a-time value. Add
DO_NOT_RESET_FILE_ACCESS_TIME to the bp.conf on the client doing the
backup.
All those little writes back to the NFS server to reset the atime per
file
really add up. Note, this is, unfortunately, a client-wide setting.
