 I have used this and still don't like it. Having to edit the bp.conf to
manipulate reporting is not a good idea, not to mention, if there is more
then one person doing this, it can affect all the backups if a mistake is
made.

It didn't go away, it just became more inconvenient:

In NB 3.4, you cat still use bpdbjobs, but that went away in 4.X. So for
now, you can use
bpdbjobs -report -format_file jobsformat2. The jobsformat2 is a copy of a
file that formats the Activity Monitor. This file can be found:
/opt/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd and the file name is jobsformat.
you can save it to another name, make changes, then run bpdbjobs calling
this file with the -format_file flag.

# cat jobsformat
WINDOW MAIN 1
{
REFRESHRATE 0 10
"JOB LIST" 458
WIDTH 1232
}
LIST JOBS 1

Hello,

I am using netbackup businessserver 3.4GA and would like to know if there is
any command line equivalent to the activity monitor GUI details tab. I
would like to get an email with the detail status of completed jobs. The
details tab gives me information such as tapes used, time started and
finished, amount of data backed up. Thank you.
