I agree with Michael. It sounds like a driver config issue.

Look at your /kernel/drv/st.conf. See what it says. Does it have entries
for all the targets that you have within the library?

In addition, I would look at the /usr/openv/volmgr/bin/driver/sg.conf.
If you use tpautoconf to configure your drives it should update the
sg.conf file. You may need to do some work with the file.

I'm using sun solaris as media server. i have 24 drives. in the first
zoning drive 1 include in the robot but then in the second zoning
changing to drive 12. my problem when i sgscan drive 2nd not detected.
but when scanned using sun command drive 2 detected. any body can help
me
