I need to move a AIX Media server from one master to another master....

Basically from one environment to another....

1.  Clients being backed up will stay with the media server being moved...
2.  Tape Drives & tapes will stay with the media server being moved...
3.  Robot control will stay with the media server being moved [ACS]...

I know I have to do the following:

1.  Adjust bp.conf on the clients.....
2.  Adjust bp.conf on the media server....
3.  Adjust vm.conf on the media server....
4.  Adjust bp.conf and vm.conf  on the new Master
5.  Adjust bp.conf and vm.conf  on the old master

I guess my question boils down to: 

How do I transfer the tape info between masters for this media server?

And is this do-able?  Or do I have to purchase new tapes for the move?
