Thanks for the reply, I have changed all my clients to use VSP.

OTM and VSP should not be on the same client, ever. It will cause
problems on your client, one of which I've seen is crashing the box.

OTM is the way the old versions of NBU backed up open files on Windows;
VSP is one of the new ways. The OTM option is not included in the
4.5/5.0 clients so if it is still on your client at either of these
versions you'll need to remove it.

=20

I've seen this and it was the result of an incorrect upgrade process.
We found that the only way to remove OTM was to reinstall the 3.4 client
and then remove it manually. Of course, you'll first need to remove
your 4.5/5.0 client -- this whole process takes a series of reboots so
be sure you plan a couple hours for your maintenance window.

=20

Since OTM runs as this funky kernel driver we haven't been able to find
a way to disable it or remove it without reinstalling the 3.4 client
first. If anyone has another way of dealing with it I'd love to hear.

Is there any reason to have OTM turned on if you are using VSP instead?
