Not to mention....he said he's running Solaris 2.6 on his Master server.
NBU 5.0 does not support Solaris 2.6 server or clients.

Would have to upgrade ther Master Server and ALL clients to at least
Solaris 7.
(Using Veritas' support model of one rev previous on clients, you could
run 4.5 on the 2.6 clients, but that is still and unsupported config
since if you follow the chain, you are backing up Solaris 2.6 clients to
a NBU 5.0 server)
