Hi,
What os is the master server ?
We have the same problem with an AIX 5.1. when we try to restore from a backup
containing 4 million files (120GB) the restore stays in queue for more than 5
hours.
During this time the AIX I/O wait is 50%. We move the database to a Linux pc
and we try to do the same restore and it starts within 3 minutes. I?m waiting
from veritas and IBM to check the installation.(the problem exist with 4.5 and
5.1)
