I have a question regarding Exchange backups. =20
=20
NB 5.1 MP2
Solaris 9 Master server
Windows client is Exchange 2003 Enterprise Server
I have 2 interfaces on the client, one is for backup.
=20
Let's say that the server name is serverA. Normally, I would name my
client serverA-back for the backup interface. So in the host file, I
would have an entry for serverA and another entry for serverA-back. I
also add the required_interface of serverA-back to NetBackup. Here is
the problem, when I create an Exchange policy with a client name
serverA-back, when the job runs, it get a status of 69, which is invalid
filelist specification. The filelist is just Microsoft Information
Store:\. When I changed the client name to serverA, everything works
without problems. How do I use the second interface with Exchange
backups or is it possible to use a name other than the Exchange server
name? =20
=20
Thanks in advance!
Ken
