I've found the root cause : it was the different client host naming at
master server. After I correct the client host name at master server,
backup runs smoothly..
Thanks..

Subject: Re: [Veritas-bu] Backing up an MSSQL Server behind firewall
Hello Arif
Can you start the SQL backup by running the .bch-script from the client
GUI ?
I have found that creating dbbackup and dbclient directories
under ../NetBackup/logs is great help in troubleshooting SQL backups
also the bprd log on the master server
Make sure that you have firewall-rules for both the physical and logical
nodes.
If you like you can send me the logs and I will try pinpoint the problem
Regards
Michael
