NO 3.4.1 clients might backup but they do not restore well except NT
the basic rule with Veritas and clients is 1 version behind is OK, 3.4.1
with 4.5(mp6) NOT 5.0  - Clients are the same with DB agents - 3.4 agents
will work - "booted" with 4.5 clients and 4.5 master servers but 3.4 agents
with 4.5 clients will not work with 5.0 masters, the clients might but the
agents wont, all clients must be at least 4.5 to work with 5.0 masters.
Backups might work for awhile but retores and speed will suffer.
Basically - 3.4 clients will not work with 5.0 masters

Other than raising a hardware call does anybody have  a way forward.
Obviously, all of our backups are timing out.

The Master  is at 5.0 MP3.

Can a 3.4 client  be compatible with a 5.0 server.   For historical
reasons
this is the position we are in.
