Veritas made a suggestion that might fix this.  

"From host properties of the master server, under client attributes, add
the client to the list. Under the Windows open file backup tab, uncheck
use Windows open file backup."

WE are seeing the same thing. I see it only on windows clients. they
tend to
hang around for days. Is MP4 released yet.
